Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Turkish FinTech companies joined a networking event with high attendees. 

FinTech İstanbul continues to gather the prominent stakeholders of the industry. In the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FinTech İstanbul and DIFC, a large networking meeting occurred between the two parties.

The event, organised by FinTech İstanbul, gathered the CEO’s of nine different companies along with several founders, co-founders, business analysts, sales managers and managers in the Combined Payment meeting hall.

The event started with the opening speech of Prof. Dr Selim Yazıcı, Co-founder of FinTech İstanbul. It continued with the presentations of DIFC CEO Arif Amiri and Business Development Director Salmaan Jaffery. The meeting provided information on the opportunities presented by DIFC to entrepreneurs, entry conditions, trade processes, regulative sandbox structure, incentives, collaboration opportunities with financial institutions, regulators’ attitudes, licensing processes, prices and access to different markets.

Later in the meeting, FinTech representatives came together with DIFC and had networking meetings.
